Tetra Algizit provides quick and effective relief from even the most stubborn algae problems in freshwater aquariums. The tablets combat various types of algae, including green, brown, and red algae, as well as troublesome brush and beard algae. The fast-dissolving tablets release an active ingredient upon contact with water that disrupts the metabolism of algae. As a result, the algae die off, while the product remains safe for fish, plants, and beneficial micro-organisms when used according to the instructions. The water will not become cloudy or discoloured.

Usage

Use one tablet per 20 litres of aquarium water. Place the tablet in an area with sufficient water movement, allowing the product to disperse optimally. Repeat the treatment after two weeks if necessary. During the treatment, it is important to continue aeration and temporarily disable active carbon filtration, UV cleaning, and water changing. Remove dead algae mechanically to maintain water quality. For enduringly healthy aquarium water, you can lower phosphate and nitrate levels with Tetra EasyBalance, thus preventing new algae growth.
