Struvite

Struvite formation is a common but treatable condition. Struvite is the formation of crystals and/or stones in the urinary bladder, which are mainly composed of magnesium, ammonium and phosphate. An appropriate (low) degree of acidity (pH value) in the urine and, in particular, a reduced level of magnesium in food can help reduce the formation of struvite. By using special dietary foods you will be much better equipped to deal with your cat's problems. TROVET Urinary Struvite ASD (Anti-Struvite Diet) reduces the acidity in your cat's urine, so that they can heal faster. It also helps existing struvite dissolve (curative effect). TROVET ASD has been specially created to be a complete and balanced food source. You can therefore give it to your cat for life to prevent struvite formation. In addition, eating your cat's food won't harm other adult cats.
