Detail
Reduction of urinary pH
TROVET Urinary Struvite ASD Dog reduces the urinary pH value. TROVET Urinary Struvite ASD Dog has an acidifying effect on the urine, reducing the urinary pH to around 6, and ensuring that no struvite crystals can settle. It can also dissolve existing struvite crystals.
Solution and preventive measure
TROVET Urinary Struvite ASD Dog works by both preventing and treating problems in the urine. Due to the reduction of the urinary pH, it is easier for stones and crystals to dissolve. New crystals cannot form in acidic urine.
Prevent recurrence
If your dog has previous suffered from struvite crystals/stones, then the chance of recurrence is high. With a special diet, this risk can be minimised. It is important that, as the problems with stones are resolved, you continue to use Trovet ASD. It is a complete food, which can be given to your dog for life.
